Each player will hit a tee shot. The best shot will be selected. Each player will play a shot from the selected position. Play will continue in this manner until the ball is holed. A tee shot from each player must be used on a PAR 3, PAR 4 and PAR 5 hole. Teams will receive 15% of the total of the 4 player’s handicap

 

 NOTE:  If a 4 Man team only has 3 players, a rotation of the 3 players will be used. The team will have 4 shots same as a full team.  The order will be selected prior to play starting

This is our 2 Man team event held over 3 days and it is flighted. 

This event will be held at the end of January.

Rounds will be played on Wednesday - Saturday - Wednesday

  There are 3 different formats of play. 

The 1st round is Better Ball

 2nd round is a Chapman 

3rd round is a Scramble

 

*Team members must have a handicap difference no greater than 10

Low Net

 

 

 

 

 

 

All players will play their own ball through the hole.

Players will be divided into flights based on handicap.

 

Chapman

 

 

Each player will hit a tee shot.

Each player will then hit his partner’s ball for your second shot.

The best shot will then be selected.

You will alternate shots from the selected position until the ball is holed.

 

*The team will receive 40% of the 2 players’ total handicap

Scramble

 

 

 

Each player will hit a tee shot. The best shot will be selected. A minimum of 6 tee shots must be used from each player.

 

*The team will receive 25% of the 2 players’ total handicap

Each player will hit a tee shot.  The best shot will be selected.  Each player will play a shot from the selected position.  Play will continue in this manner until the ball is holed.  Each player with a handicap of 26 or greater must use his ball a minimum of 2 TEE shots and 2 SECOND shots.  All other players must use their ball a minimum of 3 TEE shots and 3 SECOND shots. Teams will receive 15% of the total of the 4 player’s handicap.

 

 

 

 

 NOTE:  If a 4 Man team only has 3 players, a rotation of the 3 players will be used. The team will have 4 shots same as a full team.  The order will be selected prior to play starting

Step-Aside Scramble

 

 

 

Each player will hit a tee shot. The best shot will be selected. The person whose shot was selected will STEP ASIDE and not hit the next shot. After the tee shot, only 3 players will hit each shot until the ball is holed.  Teams will receive 15% of the total of the 4 players’ handicaps

2 Better Balls

 

 

 

 

 

All four players will play their own ball through the hole. Each player will record their gross score. The 2 best NET scores will be recorded for a team score. Each player will receive 100% of their handicap

 

The Club Championship

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is an individual stroke play event held over 3 days. 

Rounds will be played Wednesday-Saturday-Wednesday

The Club Champion will be the low gross score from the Championship flight. 

Players will be flighted by Tee Box For this event.

The Blue Tee will be the Championship Tee.

 IF YOU WISH TO COMPETE TO BE THE OVERALL CHAMPION YOU MUST PLAY THE BLUE TEE FOR THIS EVENT

Please notify Tim via email if you would like to be in the Championship Flight.

You will be assigned flights based on your current default tee

The Men's 18 hole club has decided to hold a Member/Member Kovid Klassic tournament!

 

 This tournament will be a 2 man team event. Team members must have a handicap difference no greater than 10.

 

The format will consist of four 9 hole games.Each day will be 18 holes.

 

Friday April 9 th will be Best ball/Alternating Shot, followed by lunch at Charlie Q!!

 

Saturdays format will be a Scramble/Team Total Net. Saturday’s round will be followed by lunch on the patio at the Multipurpose Room/Auditorium.

 

This tournament is limited to the first 72 players!

 

The cost of each player is $20 dollars.
